Viv is the Sole Proprietor of the firm and has been practising law since she was admitted as an Attorney and Notary Public in 2004. In 2011 she opened Viv Greene Attorneys with the focus being on civil litigation and in particular correspondent work. Viv deals with all types of civil litigation including subrogated insurance claims, medical negligence and RAF matters. As a Notary Public, she also attends to the execution and registration of Ante-Nuptial contracts and other notarial documents. Viv has Rights of Appearance in the High Court and regularly appears in the Pietermaritzburg High Court as well as the Regional and District courts in Pietermaritzburg.

 

Fern joined Viv Greene Attorneys once she was admitted as an attorney in 2013. She has a general litigation practice and practices out of the Pietermaritzburg High Court, Regional Court and District Court in a wide variety of law including Insolvency, general Civil Litigation, Debt Recovery, Subrogated claims, Medical Negligence, Deceased Estates, Wills and Trusts. Fern has Rights of Appearance in the High Court and regularly appears in the Pietermaritzburg High Court as well as the Regional and District courts in Pietermaritzburg.

 

Carmen is a part of the vital support staff at Viv Greene Attorneys and has been with the firm since its inception in 2011. She is Viv’s secretary and is also involved with the daily office management and administration of the firm, correspondent work and accounts. She is a dedicated mom and enjoys spending time with family.

Phyllis Mntungwa

Phyllis has been with Viv Greene Attorneys since its inception in 2011. She is a member of the support team and her wide-ranging duties include receipting of legal documents, drawing diary, filing and scanning of documents, as well as other general office administration

Anasia Hoosen

Anasia has over 18 years of experience as a legal secretary and worked for several prominent law firms in Pietermaritzburg before joining Viv Greene Attorney at the beginning of 2018. She is Ferns secretary and handles High, Regional, and Magistrates Court litigation for a broad base of instructing attorneys around the country. She is an integral part of the team and is always willing to go the extra mile to help. She loves her work and spending quality time with her family.

Tracy worked for a number of prominent firms in Pretoria before relocating to KZN and is now a valued member of the team at Viv Greene Attorneys. She is Viv’s secretary and has experience in Debt Collections, correspondent work and daily office administration.   She enjoys her work and also values time spent with her loved ones.

Chevon is a 2nd year Candidate Legal Practitioner. She attended the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg campus where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in 2016 and an LLB degree in 2018. Chevon is very passionate about the law and has keen interests in Civil litigation including RAF and Medical Negligence matters , Estates and Intellectual Property.

Zonke Madladla

Zonke is a paralegal. She attended Rhodes University graduate with a BA degree in Political Philosophy in 2014 and an LLB degree in 2016. She completed her articles with Legal Aid SA in 2019. She is very passionate about the law and has keen interests in litigation. She intends to pursue a Master’s degree in medical negligence.

Kayra is a 2nd year Candidate Legal Practitioner. In 2017, Kayra graduated with an LLB, from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg campus, where she received the Dean’s Commendation. In 2018, Kayra pursued her interest in Business Law and successfully completed her LLM at UKZN, focusing her dissertation on the nuances in the validity of a contract. Whilst practicing, Kayra has found her passion in the field of litigation.

Razina is a 2nd year Candidate Legal Practitioner. Razina has graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg campus with degrees in BCom Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), where she obtained the Dean’s Commendation in both fields. Razina is currently pursuing her interest in Maritime Law while finalizing her Master of Laws LLM at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Howard campus. Razina, whilst focusing on civil litigation and enjoying this area of law, also assists many clients with Masters office lodgments for trusts and estates.
